Pack a healthy, but
not messy snack for your gymnast for during the meet, they will be out on the
floor for up to 3 hours.

Don't forget water.

No heavy make-up.

Earrings should be
posts, not dangling.

No flashy nail
polish, clear is allowable.

Hair needs to be
neat, pulled back, secure. Check with the coach for there might be a preferred
style for your level. Use lots of hairspray and gel.

Double check that
your gymnast has the required uniform before you leave. Gym bag, warm-up, top and
bottom and most important their competitive leotard.

Turn off your cell
phones or put them on vibrate for the meet.

Turn off your flash
for the meet, you can take pictures with the flash during awards.

Arrive earlier than
required....seating is sometimes limited.

Most meets have a
$5 raffle per session for the gymnasts.

NAAG meets have
leos and shorts for sale.

Double check which
gym you are going to be competing at, most towns have more than one.

Book Hotel room
early if we are going to NAAG or another Eugene gym when the University of
Oregon Ducks are playing football at home.

If you compete the
8am session you can do the gymnast's hair the night before, start wet and use
lots of gel. Do not wait till the meet to do hair.
